We are seeking a dedicated Cemetery Worker to join our team.
As a Cemetery Worker, you will be responsible for maintaining the grounds and ensuring the cemetery is well-kept and presentable.
This is a physically demanding role that requires attention to detail and the ability to work independently.
Responsibilities:
- Perform general groundskeeping duties, including mowing, trimming, and edging lawns - Maintain flower beds and gardens within the cemetery - Operate power tools and hand tools to complete landscaping tasks - Assist with grave digging and burial preparations - Clean and maintain cemetery buildings, including mausoleums - Irrigate lawns and plants as needed - Ensure proper disposal of waste and debris Requirements:
- Previous experience in garden or groundskeeping preferred - Knowledge of power tools and hand tools used in landscaping - Ability to perform physical tasks such as lifting heavy objects and working outdoors in various weather conditions - Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain a high standard of cleanliness in the cemetery grounds - Excellent communication skills to interact with visitors in a professional manner Note:
All positions must be paid, including internship positions.
