Position Overview:
As an Entry-Level Project Engineer, you will play a vital role in ensuring the successful execution of multifamily construction projects.
You will work closely with the on-site project management team to coordinate and manage small job tasks, while also contributing to project administrative activities.
This role provides a unique opportunity to learn and grow in a fast-paced construction environment while contributing to the delivery of high-quality projects.
Key ResponsibilitiesAssist in the coordination and oversight of various construction activities on-site for multifamily projects, ensuring adherence to project plans and specifications.
Collaborate with project managers, site supervisors, and subcontractors to ensure smooth project execution and timely completion of tasks.
Support the documentation of daily construction activities, including progress reports, work logs, and site photographs.
Assist in the procurement of materials, equipment, and supplies necessary for the project's success.
Monitor and track project schedules, identifying potential delays and suggesting corrective actions.
Participate in project meetings and contribute to discussions on project progress, challenges, and solutions.
Assist with the preparation of project budgets, cost estimates, and forecasts, ensuring alignment with project goals.
Contribute to project administrative tasks, including contract management, document control, and communication with stakeholders.
Maintain a strong focus on safety and quality, promoting a culture of safety compliance among team members.
QualificationsBachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
Strong passion for the construction industry and a desire to build a successful career in project management.
Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
Effective communication skills, both written and verbal, to interact with team members and stakeholders.
Proficiency in using construction management software and tools is a plus.
