The Sales Support Representative will play a critical part in providing support to the sales team and effectively responding to customer queries.
The ideal candidate should possess experience in sales and customer service and knowledge of best practices in both areas.
You should have the ability to analyze and interpret sales metrics and demostrating a goal-oriented mindset.
Strong teamwork, multi-tasking and interpersonal skills are essential for success in this role.
Responsibilities -Support sales team by answering phones, emails or text messages for sod orders -Relay messages to sales team in a timely manner -Review pending orders and execute customers specific requests to ensure a positive customer experience -Route telephone calls to the appropriate team members -Input orders into database management system for farm pick ups -Provide information to customers about the varieties of sod that we offer and their unique characteristics -Produce verbal and written quotes -Calculate delivered cost by using the current pricing of the various types of sod and calculating the freight cost based on delivery location -Process credit card payments via web-based program Requirements and Skills -Hands on experience with database management systems -Proficiency with MS Office Suite -In-depth understanding of sales principles and customer service practices -Strong phone and verbal communication skills along with active listening -Analytical and multi-tasking skills -Teamwork and motivational skills -Two years or more of clerical/administrative experience Job Type:
