Job DescriptionAs a Mammography Tech, at South Baldwin, you'll play a vital role in doing what you do best - providing quality care to our patients. Our CT Staff enjoy a robust benefits package including health insurance, 401(k), flexible scheduling, 100% licensure/certification reimbursement, Tuition Reimbursement, and up to $10K for student loan payments.Requirements ARRT Registered Technologist Subspecialty in Mammography Current BLS from the AHA or ARC Minimum of 1 year of full-time experience within the last 3 years in a clinical setting About the Job Operates X-ray equipment and performs various mammography related procedures Obtains patient history. Develops and evaluates the film for technical quality such as density contrast, definition, and distortion. Explains procedures and educates women about the role of regular mammography in preventive breast health. Assists Radiologist in invasive procedures. Relies on instructions and pre-established guidelines to perform the functions of the job. Maintain equipment servicing, staff licensing, and competencies.
