We are accepting applications for the position of Administrative Assistant II in the Foley Senior Center.
Starting salary is $35,586 annually ($17.
10/hr.
) with excellent benefits including paid health, dental, and life insurance, retirement through State of Alabama Retirement Systems, paid holidays, vacation, sick leave and annual performance raises.
A successful applicant must have a valid drivers license and pass a full driving and background check, drug screen and physical.
Examples of Work:
Meet and greet general public in person, via phone and social media Assist members and public with cloud based member system Assist in planning special events Various administrative tasks; receives, receipts, balances and prepares deposits Drive city vehicle and/or 13 passenger bus Available to work some weekends and after hour events Education and/or
Experience:
High School diploma or GED and two (2) years of experience in a job related field, or an equivalent combination of education, training and experience that provides the required knowledge, skills and abilities Valid Class D drivers license.
CPR and AED certified Physical Demands:
Light work which requires exerting up to 20 pounds of force occasionally and/or up to 10 pounds of force to move objects.

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
