monthly close, reporting of financial operations, account reconciliations, fixed asset maintenance, budget preparation and monitoring, and reporting to regulatory agencies and corporate office - in particular cost report data collection.
Assists the Controller and Director of Finance in all aspects of accounting including but not limited to:
monthly close, reporting of financial operations, account reconciliations, fixed asset maintenance, budget preparation and monitoring, and reporting to regulatory agencies and corporate office - in particular cost report data collection.
Education:
Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related degree preferred.
Equivalent experience can be considered in lieu of degree.
Experience:
2 - 4 years of experience in accounting and finance (preferably 2 years in the healthcare industry).
Knowledge of GAAP and familiar with a variety of the field's concepts, practices, and procedures.
Proficient written and verbal communication skills.
Ability to work in a fast-paced, ever-changing environment.
Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with hospital staff.
Knowledge of Microsoft applications.
Knowledge of HMS, SAGE Fixed Asset System & Kronos a plus.

Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
